About Islamiya PUC Commerce
Established in 1982, Islamiya PUC's Commerce stream offers a well-rounded academic foundation for students aspiring to pursue careers in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, and Entrepreneurship. With a student-centered approach and an experienced teaching team, our Commerce department helps students build both theoretical understanding and practical insight. Our goal is to prepare confident, skilled individuals who can thrive in the dynamic world of commerce and business.
Courses & Combinations Offered
We offer Karnataka State Board-approved subject combinations for both 1st and 2nd PUC students:
- EBAC – Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Computer Science
- EBAS – Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Statistics
Our curriculum is supported by interactive teaching methods, real-life examples, and case studies to help students grasp key concepts and apply them in future careers or higher education.
Practical Learning & Commerce Lab
To complement classroom learning, our Commerce section includes a Commerce Lab where students engage in project work, role-playing, mock business models, and financial simulations. We encourage real-time application of concepts like budgeting, profit/loss analysis, marketing strategies, and GST filing basics. These activities make learning more relevant, enjoyable, and impactful.
Faculty & Student Support
Our faculty includes experienced and dedicated educators who not only teach but also mentor students throughout their academic journey. Regular revision, doubt-clearing sessions, and concept-based assessments ensure every student receives the support they need. We track academic progress closely and provide guidance for improving performance at every level.
Career Guidance & Competitive Preparation
We offer career guidance sessions to help students identify paths in B.Com, BBA, CA, CS, Banking, and Government Exams. For students interested in competitive exams, we also provide foundation-level coaching for CET for Commerce, CA-CPT, and other entrance exams. Our aim is to give students the vision and resources to plan their futures effectively.
Admission & Eligibility
Eligibility:
- Students must have passed SSLC (10th Std) or equivalent.
- Both boys and girls are eligible.
Admission Process:
- Collect and fill the application form.
- Submit documents: SSLC mark sheet, TC, Aadhaar, photographs.
- Attend counseling/orientation.
- Pay admission fees to confirm the seat.
Admissions begin in April–May every academic year.
Discipline & Attendance
Discipline is the foundation of success. Islamiya PUC Commerce expects students to:
- Maintain at least 75% attendance
- Follow college uniform and code of conduct
- Respect peers, teachers, and learning spaces
- Participate in regular internal assessments and unit tests
